Camo Can

I found this skate video over on Skate and Annoy, you can read about this video over there. I hope they don't mind I have re posted this thing. Anyway, By all means watch the whole thing or just go to about 17:40 and watch the love of Camo. Many of my bad nights have started out with a Camo Can. Or good nights, I suppose. It all depends on the morning.

the road

So, I'm reading a book right now called the road by Cormac McCarthy. My friend Paul Brown recommended it. I am about 30 pages out from being done with it and as I read it, it got me thinking about the old film Crazy People. More importantly the scene when he pitches the movie poster for The Freak, "It will fuck you up for life." This book is pretty heavy, so to make light of it, I thought I would watch this old clip. Will we ever have a day where there is truth in advertising?

We're headed up to Fresno this Saturday for my buddy Paul's wedding. Not sure why they picked Fresno (Sanger to be exact) for their spot, but hopefully Loc Dog will let me borrow his bike. "Loc Dog don't ride for no trick ass bitches."

6 months down

So, today marks 6 months since I have been unemployed. I really didn't think it would last this long.


I guess Alex told me it would be this way.

Unemployment life on the dole

Freedom From Want

Today is Paul's birthday over at Freedom From Want . A couple of days ago my Dad sent me some WWII posters. This was one of them.

wakeboarding 2.0?

So, I admit, I have wakeboarded in the past. However, it has always been behind a boat or PWC. This past weekend I went out to Tempe, AZ for the Redbull Wake Lab. I got a little side PA gig through the Slaughterface bros. We loaded up the RV with what else, a keg of Coors Light and hit the road. What Wakeboarders are doing these days is gnarly. There I said it.
